Bill Quinney
Chairman of the Board

After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Mr. Quinney worked twelve years for John Deere Limited in various marketing positions.  In 1976 Mr. Quinney joined Agro Equipment Ltd., a John Deere dealership in Calgary, Alberta, and in 1981 he became the president and general manager.  Agro was traditionally one of the top ten John Deere dealerships in Canada, achieving volumes of over $20 million and customer satisfaction of more than 95 per cent.  In the fall of 2000, he sold his shares in Agro to Cervus Corp., a public company that owns eight other John Deere dealerships.

Mr. Quinney has been extremely active in the North America Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA).  In 1980, he became a director in the Alberta/British Columbia Equipment Dealers Association and was elected president in 1986.  In 1995, he was elected to represent the Association as a director on the NAEDA Board. In 2000, he was honored to become the 100th president of NAEDA.

Don Douglas
President & CEO

Douglas has focused his career within the dynamic high tech sector since his graduation from the  University of Alberta. Holding senior and executive management positions within the telecommunications and information technology sectors, principally within sales, marketing, business development and general management. Previous to Longview Advantage, Douglas held senior positions with Nortel Networks, Maxlink Communications, Japan Radio Corporation and Tandem Computers/Compaq Canada. Most recently, Douglas has used his Consulting and Advisory practice, Don Douglas & Associates to assist a number of early stage technology focused companies, developing and implementing business strategies and plans that have enabled many to achieve immediate market success.

Jennien Yarmie
VP; Marketing Support

After attending the University of Calgary and Mount Royal College, Jennien embarked to new pastures overseas. Relocating to London, England, Jennien worked for British American Tobacco. developing processes and procedures to effectively streamline operations, within the Technology Strategy arena. 

Following her time in London, Jennien moved to the United Arab Emirates where she positively contributed to establishing the Middle East practice for an executive search firm.

Returning to her hometown, Jennien is one of the few original Calgarians and brings to the team a diverse background of international experience across various functions, industries and cultures.   

Jennien is responsible for planning, developing and directing the marketing efforts for Longview Advantage, in addition to being the Sales DIrector for Canada. With her strong interpersonal, communication and entrepreneurial skills, Jennien is well equipped for success.
